Hamsilos Bay
Although it is widely known that it is a fjord, it is not possible for the glaciers to descend from the sea in Turkey. During the glacial period, the valley glaciers in Turkey could reach up to 2200 m mountains. The son of Deveci Creek was on the lowering sea during the ice age. Hamsilos is a ria type coast formed by the creek mouth of the rising waters of the ice age.
A place to go in Sinop. If you are on your way to Sinopa, I say stop by. There are two parts, the place, which is a nature park, does not confuse these places. There are hiking trails in Hamsilos nature park, with an entrance fee. You do not know the cost of the boat tour.

Erfelek Tatlıca Waterfalls Nature Park
In the valley, it has become from the 28-large sequential scheme. There is nothing in the world with this departure. In a narrow and 2 km valley, in waterfalls and floating forests, shopping is enjoyable and exciting. “Turkey’s Captain’s Lodge SINOP”.
Wonderful lush nature and a waterfall of waterfalls.
Those who want to make rope passes in some places of the waterfall can progress to the waterfall with an action course.
Those who walk on the wooden pier do not have much training after going to the cafe. The main thing is to see the trip, but there are people who will go.

İnceburun Lighthouse
In Turkey’s Sinop province, the Black Sea is an active lighthouse.
The masonry lighthouse is on the northernmost rocks of Anatolia; in Inceburun (literally: Keskin Burnu), 25 km (16 miles) above Sinop, which was built in 1863. The 12 m (39 ft) lighthouse tower, located in a gallery of the lantern room; is an octagonal prism resting on a high-level square-plan base and is painted white. A one-story watcher house is attached to it; and three additional buildings belong to the light station. Within a 26 m radius, 20 of them will flash white four times.
It is a very windy place, but the view is calm, the sunset is perfect. It is known as the northernmost tip of Turkey.

Archeology Museum
The first museum activities in Sinop started in 1921. The artifacts, which were excavated both from the necropolis in the west of the city surrounded by walls, and from the foundation excavations due to the construction in the city; were primarily started to be preserved in the Mekteb-i İdadi.
I think it’s the only museum in the eastern black sea region that has not undergone renovations, or rather the only museum we can see, they said, wherever we go, there is a renovation, we are closed. Our Black Sea tour was without a museum. If you happen to be in Sinop, be sure to stop by.
A place that wants to visit a very nice museum to visit.

Sinop Castle
It is a castle built on the peninsula where the city is located. The castle was founded in the 7th century BC to protect the city. It was repaired several times during the Roman, Byzantine and Anatolian Seljuk periods. The walls of the castle; which still preserves its characteristics today; are 2,050 meters long, 25 meters high, and 3 meters wide. There are two main entrance gates. The fortress wall surrounds the city. This castle is among the prominent historical monuments of the city. UNESCO included the castle on the World Heritage Tentative List in 2013.
My most important advice to friends who will visit is to walk along the wall. Examine both up close and from afar. Enter and wander through the passages between the walls. Think about who has traveled from past to present and what people think. Look from different points that will unite you with the space and try to breathe the common air. Look at the movement of boats on the beach and think about how these walls were built hundreds of years ago against the dangers from the sea.

Boyabat Castle
In Gökırmak Valley; It was founded on one of two opposite steep rocky hills. The castle was built in accordance with the natural structure of the rocks. Some of the towers between the castle bodies are rectangular, some are round; Inside, there are stairs to the towers. The entrance to the castle is from the southeast corner; through a small door next to the large round tower.
If you come to Boyabat castle, reach the castle by climbing the stairs; that is, the corridors on the side of the stream. You will see that you go down at the entrance of the stairs; but do not go down, it is quite risky and the bottom is already closed. But when you enter the part where the stairs are; go down 5-10 steps and look to the right, you will see an open part there, when you shine the light inside; you will see that there is another hidden staircase under the stairs. A lot of people who come here miss this detail.

Balatlar Church
Sinope Koimesis Church is a church dating from the Byzantine period in Yusufoğlu Range in the Ada neighborhood of Sinop. This building complex, which is thought to have served as a bath in its first construction in the Roman period, was built between the 6th and 7th centuries. Church in the 11th-13th centuries. grain warehouse between centuries; Anatolian Seljuks or the Ottomans of the city. Later, it was left to the local Christian people and turned into a monastery where Mary and Archangel Michael are commemorated together. In the 1920s, it was used as a cemetery as well as worship.
It is a real disgrace to leave a 15-century-old building that needs maximum care; protection and maintenance in this condition. In order to understand the value Sinop gives to history; it will be enough to go to the ethnography museum and see the state of the artifacts there.
